Cost per action (CPA)

Cost per action (CPA) is an online advertising marketing strategy that permits an advertiser to pay a specified action from a prospective customer. Doing a CPA campaign is comparatively low risk for the advertiser, as transaction only has to be made whenever a specific action takes place. CPA offers are most often associated with internet marketing. Cost per action is also as cost per acquisition (CPA).

CPA is very much comparable to Affiliate marketing but its lot easier than Affiliate Marketing where we will be earning from Cost per Sale. In CPA your visitors may choose the product however, you get paid after they take a specific action just like submitting his or her email or telephone number etc.

In the CPA model, the publisher takes the maximum risk as income is dependent on good conversion rates.
